The files identified by MSE are:
Win32/CVE-2010-1885.A (this one has not returned after being removed)
Win32/Tofsee.F
Win32/Slenfbot.gen!D
Tofsee has returned once, and Slenfbot three times since their initial removal. Since this first attack, I've noticed that my Internet browsing has slowed considerably, so something may still be working in the background.
Malware detected the following:
Registry Keys Detected: 1
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ModuleUsage\C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/DNVPWIDGET.EXE (Adware.KorAd) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
Registry Values Detected: 1
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDLLs|C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DNVPWIDGET.EXE (Adware.KorAd) -> Data: 1 -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
Files Detected: 1
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dnVPWidget.exe (Adware.KorAd) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
SUPERAntispyware detected and removed four adware tracking cookies.
The DDS and GMER logs are included below or are attached.
Thanks
Shane
