Transfering email from Outlook Express to Outlook 2010 Transferring email

Can somebody give me instructions on how to transfer email from a Windows XP Pro computer running outlook express to a Windows 7 Professional computer running Outlook 2010.

Thanks for any help provided.

The easiest way I can think of would be to install Outlook on your XP machine, import your e-mail from Outlook Express to Outlook, then copy the pst file over to a flash drive and import it through Outlook on the new pc. Or you could try to import from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail on the XP machine, copy those files over to Windows Live Mail on the Windows 7 pc, THEN import from Live Mail into Outlook.
