Hmmm as said when I do a search it shows 13 FOLDERS of c:i386, But one of them yes is near the 500mg . Ok so clicked it open shows 3 files.
I think i did what u said with , Windows key and then R, typed SFC/Scannow and it agghh tells me can't find it. In the Run window when I click Browse , type C:i386 the folder shows up in a file C:\9693fd2daf960f5b4a3c0af8cce84c\i386 . Lord baking bread isn't this complicated .

Not SFC/Scannow, My mistake pity a space as in sfc /scannow and see if that works.

At this point if you had the proper Windows disc I'd be doing a system repair......
My first Computer had a Whopping 16K of memory @ 0.89MHz
My first hard drive held 20 Megabytes and never got filled up.

ok gave it t go, message came "files that required for Windows to run properly must be copied to the DLL cache.....insert the XP disc".
aggggh. I am going to tear the my office apart again and look for it again. But the only residual problem here is the missing files for Accessories ie the games, and as u suggested doing a system repair. :(

Well doing a repair install has its own headaches. If you can live with the missing I would just leave it alone.

Just to double check with you, Did you look to see if the missing files are in the recycle bin?

Hi

I'm uploading the entire accessories folder

http://www.mediafire.com/?6la8agu8eq65scv

Extract using

http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar410.exe

You can copy the GAMES folder alone to appropriate location

good luck
