I do have a 4G capable wireless internet card for work, but i'm limited to 5gb/month and I got scolded a while back for getting an overage charge. I thought it was unlimited but thats another story. Since they use a browser authentication/password system, I didn't think i'd be able to get on xbox live. When I tried, I had no problem finding the wireless network, but it wouldn't connect.
So, I googled this and found that I can get online via wifi on my laptop, run an ethernet cable from my laptop to my xbox and just bridge the connections. AWESOME!
So I do it, and I get an error message:
"The network bridge can not be configured while other network property sheets are open."
So I google this. Not a lot of help. One thing is that I might have 2 network windows open. Nope. Another was to ctrl+alt+del and go to processes and look for "control.cpl." Nope, not there.
I know its not going to be my home connection, and i'll get lag spikes, but something is better than nothing.
Any help would be much appreciated.
