Help
I'm looking for an alternative to Nero. I used to use it for burning AVI files to CD and DVD media to play in my DVD player. And it worked great. Only took about 20 minutes to burn a movie to disc and that included menus. But I no longer have the disc. I can get a trial version, but it's severely limited in it's use. I've used other free versions, but they can takes hours to encode and burn a single movie. And that doesn't always guarantee they will play in my DVD player.
Can someone please tell me of a good burning Rom that will allow me to burn to CD's and DVD's and also play in my standard DVD player without taking all day to do so? I don't want to ruin any more media during the learning process.

I've tried DVD Flick. It took over five hours for the whole process. I have tons of video to burn. I was hoping for an app that wouldn't take so long.
