BleepingComputer.com: Receving PHP forms (Simple)

Hello!

How long those it take to receive a simple php form to a email address?
In earlier attempts they take up to 25mins. Why?

I only have 2 text fields inputs: "email" & "message"
The scripts work correctly but I do not see the message in my email, as soon as I send it from the website.

There are about a kazillion factors that could contribute to the amount of time it takes for an email to be delivered. It could be anything from how long it takes your host to upload the email, or how the IP handles mail that may or may not have an MX record, or if your service provider scans the email, etc.

In my implementation, it takes just a couple of minutes.

I still have not received the e-mail and it has been over 8 hours.

I must be sending them to a wrong email or something is up...

Maybe you should enable some debugging info in your php code to make sure that the email is even being sent, I would say that after 8 hours, the mail is probably not going out.

I'm no expert, but have you checked the time setting in your cron job?

Like groovicus said there are a million things that could cause this.

Are you just using mail() to send out an email with PHP?

How are you checking your email?

Who is your current web host?

Do you have SSH access to your server?

Does your host provide you with cPanel?

Can you give me a link to the site?

I will check your MX records to make sure everything is setup correctly and see if i notice any other issues.

You should get your mail immediately if there is nothing wrong with your host. Do you see any error message while executing your script?
