What all started out as fun and games has turned into a department war. At work we are all admins so that the computer we are on we have full rights to be able to get our work done. Someone discovered that in a command prompt you can remote shutdown anyone's computer forcefully with no warning resulting in a loss of work. I want to know how I can disable this on my machine so I no longer have to worry about this happening to me.

Is the domain controlled by a domain controller?
My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

simple fix is to only have one domain admin account and disable all the others.
My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

Wouldn't that be a domain fix? I'll have to convince our IT guys to make the change.

RAM = Corsair XMS3 DDR3 3X 2GB
Power Supply = Corsair TX750W

Why in the world would any competent IT admin set all domain accounts as admins.. That is a tremendous security issue not to mention the fooling around that you have described. <-- That is what you should tell your IT department..

I don't know much about domains, But from what I can gather they have them as admins so employees can install what every software they wont on the computers to help them do their job. I've installed a few things myself for example firefox so I don't have to use IE
