When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

On my Dad's Dell computer, originally loaded with Windows Vista but since upgraded to Windows 7, the computer keeps freezing at random, no matter whether in Excel, Word, Google Chrome browser or Mozilla Firefox browser. He had Avast professional antivirus, but a computer friend of his told him that that was causing the problem and to change to AVG basic. The computer still freezes. I've run the AVG and Malwarebytes but neither are reporting any problems.

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this to constantly freeze?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Don

Download and install SIW Multilanguage With Installer (SIW free version) (bottom of the screen)

Run the tool.
After it scans your computer, navigate to Hardware>Sensors and post all info from there.
