I'm using laptop with Win XP SP3 and IE8 and I can't open Yahoo e-mail from email icon on the main page (yahoo.com), error page displays saying Internet connection problem.
So, I have to type mail.yahoo.com to sign in into account.
But after that I can't sign out from account, the same page as above displays (Internet connection problem).

If I close IE and than attempt to open sign in page it goes directly to my account.
If I clear TempInt files, coockies, etc and restart IE I can open Sign In page, but after that everything is same as above, the same problem appears.

I tried uninstaling IE, reparing OS, but same things again.

I use NOD32 antivirus, and tried cleaning with SuperAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes. The last time I used Malwarebutes everything was blocked and I had to force shutdown.

Can You please help me ?

Please download and run Security Check from HERE, and save it to your Desktop.

* Double-click SecurityCheck.exe
* Follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
* A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

Please pick a Anti-Virus to run and remove the others.

Also Please use only Windows Firewall and remove the others.

Gemalto is a digital security application for token digital certificate.
I'm going to try removing all other antivirus applications and check firewalls and will post the result later.

I tried with different user and it seems just fine !
When I initially started Yahoo and click on MAIL icon some error appeared:

Errors on this page might cause it to work incorrectly.
'Y.modulePlatform' is null or not an object
www.yahoo.com/ Line:1757
Code:0 Char:9
URI:/http://www.yahoo.com/

Do you know what this error indicate?!

What should I do with this user, should I backup his profile (Docks and Sets) and then delete it and recreate?

BR,

That would be a java scripting error meaning that the browser is having issues with it during the rendering process.

Please visit http://www.java.com and update your java.

I updated Java and restarted OS, but the problem persists on.
After that I reinstalled Java, restarted OS, deleted Int. Temp. Files and Java cache, but the same again.

Do you have any other idea?

Can you try IE without any Add-Ons, and see if it works then?
