BleepingComputer.com: Cannot Verify License for office 2010

I had my registry screwed by an realtech audio driver that sent my computer into BOD loops until I copied repair registry files and restored it back using the recovery console.

But now I can neither run or uninstall office 2010 even after trying all the comments online about this. I have been locked out of my email for three days now.

Currently I don't have the windows installer service even after putting SP3 back on so I can't run microsoft fixes that have the msi ext.

I am currently trying to get the ms installer installed but when I run this:

I get "Setup has detected that the service pack version of this system is newer than the update you are applying"

Any ideas on how I can get the title accomplished?

Was Office part of the programs which came with the system?

Have you tried Revo Uninstaller to remove it?

Windows Installer 3.0 is obsolete, you should have Windows Installer 4.5 .

In addition to the questions from Hamluis, are you able to run Microsoft Office Diagnostics on the computer?

In XP it's usually located at
Start > All Programs > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Tools > Microsoft Office Diagnostics
