Old Desktop With Windows 7

Hai.. I just format my old deskptop from windows xp to 7..Everything is fine but only when I do not realize I lost my driver cd for the motherboard..

The problem is the motherboard quite old.. Can anyone can help me find the motherboard driver?

*FYI..I checked from the manufacturer website too but no luck at all.. here is the specification for the dekstop..

It is very likely your system does not support Windows 7.

What should I do? I don't mind if the desktop cannot use all the latest software because I made the desktop for my brothers and sister to learn how to use a computer..I just want to install microsoft office for them..I really appreciate if the driver for the sound and the motherboard can be download from anywhere..

If your system does not support W7 you should reformat and go back to XP.

If I reformat but still cannot find the driver for the motherboard, I don't think it will solve the problem..I can't play any mp3 or watch any video on the desktop..

Are you saying that when XP was installed you didn't have the chipset driver installed? I'm guessing you did. You must have had a disc with that driver.

When the dekstop was in xp..yes I managed to update all the drivers..however I formatted the hard disk when I'm installing windows 7..I think all the data at the hard disk were gone after that right?

Put your PC info into the dropdown boxes and it should spit back out the drivers for you PC

If it looks like I know what I'm doing, there's a pretty good chance the only reason for that is because
I once asked someone to run chkdsk /r and a BC Advisor smacked me in the back of the head.
