Hi, ive been having problems recently with my home wireless network and am looking for advice. im not an expert with this so bear with me

I have the following

BT Broadband Home hub 3- approx 2.5mb download (unlimited) connected to main phone line downstairs
Main PC - HP desktop (dont have model no. to hand) in bedroom upstairs with Belkin 54 mbps wireless adapter
Macbook air

i recently decided to back up my itunes on the hp desktop (over 7500 tunes) on i cloud. it took 1 hour to match approx 4000 songs then moved onto uploading the other 3500 songs (i take it these are the songs i have ripped from cds)

it has taken 10 hours to upload 300 songs and now the wireless connection keeps dropping out.

i presume i need to upgrade the wireless adapter? it worked ok with my previous sky router but maybe now i have the BT homehub it needs changed?

i dont mind spending a bit of cash getting my wireless network working better so looking for some advice

thanks for your help in advance

wireless connection keeps dropping out.

Did it worked flawlessly on the new ISP modem/router before or did not? Have you considered it as a distance or range problem from the source to your PC?
