Only members of the Malware Response Team or Moderators are allowed to help people with logs. Anyone else should refrain from posting to another user's log.

When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.

Do not bump your topic. We try to resolve logs on a first come/first served basis. By bumping your log you will be pushed back in line due to the new date of your bump.

Hello

yes reinstall the printer at this time

after you have done the printer uninstall these
USB CF Reader Drivers: C:\System32\Drivers\UMDF\WpdFs.dll and ....WUDFRd.sys
USB MS Reader Drivers: same
USB SD Reader Drivers: same
USB SM Reader Drivers: same

and let them get reinstalled

Ahhh Success! Printer is working now, and scanner - and I assume fax. Windows reinstalled the USB drivers - not named now, but same drivers for them, and I know the USB port and SD card readers are working again.

Thanks so much for your patience and skill. Couldn't have done it without you. Top notch. And the computer is running more smoothly than before I got infected.

Still have to do the cleanup from a couple previous posts - also disable LogMeIn from the startup menu until I need to use it again. Do I need to clean up the registry, or were those holes cleaned up by the scans? Thanks - Resolved

as long as there is no issues leave the registry alone - don't run any cleaners or anything on it
