I have 05 video clips on same subject - out of them 04 are in AVI and 01 is in mpg. format. Total clip length is 01H 26 M. I wanted to combine them into one AVI file, I have tried this using Nero vision(Version 8) , but it will take approximately 12 hours. My question is how to combine them within shortest possible time without decreasing their aspect ratio(720*540)? If any freeware is available? Please help.

This may be suitable for you, (I haven't tried it, as I have a commercial package; other members may know the program or be able to suggest suitable alternatives):

Freemake Video Converter

O/S XP/Vista/7

Requirements .NET Framework 4

May be worth converting your .AVIs to MPEGs to reduce filesizes, if there is no noticeable degradation.
