Hello All,
Call me Janosch. I'm a retired R&D engineer and totally new to on-line forums and posting. Consequently really nagged by the feeling that I'm probably doing something wrong but that may just be some underlying insecurity. I spent a long time working on catalyst development and on characterization and modelling of microelectronic devices -- none of which helps me with the internet and trying to keep Windows running but I guess it's time to learn something else. Anyway, hello to all.

You seem to have got posting down already. You might want to look at the Welcome Guide and the new user orientation forum for information about posting,both of which are designed to make users comfortable with how this forum works. The Mini-guide forum can be helpful to people who are not sure how to do specific tasks on their computer.
