When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

dell inspiron
windows 7

when any internet browser mozilla, IE, safari opens i get an error message that says

Internet Explorer has stopped working
A program caused the program to stop working correctly

I have looked for malware
I think it is an iexplore.exe fault
and if i had a guess it is either corrupted or has a conflict
I have looked for conflict
Used rKill, Malware

I think i have to do a reinstall but feel like this is my last hope

i think that the problem is that a certain webpage is conflicted with iexplore.exe
i think it is a script on the home page that has sort of jammed iexplore
if i had to guess it is a script on a msn page that asks whether you want IE to be your default browser

you will notice that if you turn off your machine and then reboot and then go to your website it takes more time on the first opening to "jam" than the second and subsequent tries
if you could insert something between the opening and jam you might have a chance

like you waiting for method

i also had firefox, safari and vuze and google chrome
it is my aughters machine!!!

but i think it can once it jams it up iexplore will not work and then affects all browsers

though that does not mean that it is NOT infected
but if it is infected it has hooked in on a webpage
my opinion but i am a complete amateur
