When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Internet Security 2012 Messed Up Computer

I try to keep my anti-virus software updated and I usually use the computers at my school library, which seem to have good security measures in place. My mother, however, tends to do without as her computer is used only for yahoo, email, and relatively safe stuff.

I'm afraid that the computer somehow got infected and I'm the likely culprit, using it watch episodes of Family Guy and doing research on SCOTUS rulings.

The program is a professed security system called "Internet Security 2012," and it won't let me even see the files in my flash drive. And if I click on the programs menu, EVERYTHING is empty. It has no internet access.

Is there anyway to fix this?
