Hey everyone. I'm basically looking for a good gaming laptop for around $800. In all actuality I can go as high as I need to if I just keep putting paychecks back, but I'd love to find one centered around that price if I could. (Yum, tax returns)

I've been looking around online, and when I read certain reviews of products, people say "It's not as good as advertised, etc. Processor doesn't reach this or that, etc. as advertised" and so now I've become paranoid of picking out one for myself. I've always had a desktop, and I don't know the difference between the two much so, other than the size and the price difference.

I'm really not interested in lowering the graphics on the games I want to play either, so yeah haha.

Game I'll be getting into:

and a different one:

A laptop that I found that I'm interested in is:

Toshiba Satellite P755-S5385
Link: http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-Satellite-P755-S5385-15-6-Inch-Laptop/dp/tech-data/B005KP0Y24/ref=de_a_smtd

I was wondering if that sounds good, and if anyone else has further suggestions?

Thanks a lot :) I plan to buy one in just the next couple weeks.

As I thought, Graphics Card is Intel HD Graphics.

You would be better off looking at something with a good video card. You can't really game on a budget.

More money but if you want to game on a laptop then I'd look at the Toshiba Qosmio line.
My first Computer had a Whopping 16K of memory @ 0.89MHz
My first hard drive held 20 Megabytes and never got filled up.

Ah thanks for the reply.

What do you think about this one? It's not too much higher than my budget:

Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q8100X - Core i5 2.3 GHz - 4 GB Ram

December 2010 - Toshiba - Notebook - 4 GB RAM - Windows 7 - Intel CPU - 500 GB disk - 2.3 GHz CPU - With DVD Drive - 1680 x 945 - Touchpad - Widescreen - With Built-in Camera - 10.1 pound - 3.5 hour battery

It's going between $900 - $1,100

Hello Michael, Thanks for the assist, I wasn't sure about the video card but I knew it had to be better than the first choice with Intel graphics.

Best Regards

The 460M is quite a powerful chip and you can find laptops that use this graphics chip quite easily in comparison to the 470M and 480M.
