When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

I'm running Windows 7 and using Internet Explorer. My anti-virus is Microsoft Security Essentials. I am unable to download files. When I try to download a file, it seems to download but then I get a message that the file was deleted because it had a virus. I've disabled my virus protection and I get the same result. I've run a full virus scan. My virus history says it detected and removed a trojan horse virus on Dec. 28th. I've haven't been able to download since then. I've also run Spybot and Malwarebytes. Nothing works. Any suggestions? Thank you very much.

I checked further on my computer. The virus was called TrojanDownloader:Java/OpenConnection.OU.

I solved my problem. I uninstalled Microsoft Security Essentials, then reinstalled it and now I am able to download files with no problems.
