Apologies if this is the wrong forum to ask this, but I'm not sure where else to go. I got a new pc with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Until very recently I was using an old pc with Windows XP.

I installed Paint Shop Pro XI on the new PC. No problem. I installed a few plugin's like "simple" with no problem. I knew that I needed to install 10 dll's before any plugin's would work. But I am having a problem installing Eye Candy 4000. I know where to install it. C drive, in the Program Files (x86) folder, sub-folder Corel, sub-folder Plugins. But when I open PSP and go to File, then File Preferences. File Locations, and attempt to add the C drive location plugin's folder, a small window opens showing the locations to choose from. But not the C drive. It's like there's not enough room. It shows the DVD drive, the Recovery D drive, and the local disc Q.

How can I properly install the Eye Candy plugin if I cannot tell PSP that it's located in the C drive? I tried stretching the little window with the cursor, but it didn't work.

Anyone have a clue?

Thank you,

Ziva

I found the solution to my dilemma. Turns out I didn't need to install said plugin in the c drive folder like I had to in XP. Just putting it in the PSP plugin folder itself did the trick.

Weird.

Thanks for looking,

Ziva

Glad you resolved it...my experience is that the directions for installing the plugin...indicate what folder it should go into.

Happy computing :).
