We have been looking for new laptops/netbooks to run a new medical records system and no one seems able to help. We sourced a Samsung netbook but these are no longer being produced. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Our minimum requirements are;
Dual Core Processor Speed 1.6
Ram 1GB
Windows 7
Long Battery Life
Portable
Touchscreen Capability

Here's a laptop worth considering: DELL Inspiron 14R
These are the kind of specs. you need to be looking at, as they surpass your requirements.
Touchscreen capability isn't available at this price range.
On the other hand, if you're only looking for basic functionality, check out the Netbooks here. While they are obviously less powerful, they are portable and offer a great battery life.
