Video Card? Laptop shuts down when I play video games...

The only reason I have a laptop is because it is required by the university I attend.

I have to say though, I have been grateful I have it at times when my desktop has needed repairs. However, by now I have plenty of spare stuff to make a desktop that I can use in emergencies anyway.
