Name and location of the folder?
Also, what is new since just before the folder first appeared (new hw, sw, error, etc)?

Did you add new hardware or install new software or download something just before the folder started appearing? Or was there any kind of error with the system before the folder showed up? Anything new or different? These things do not happen spontaneously.

And again, what is the name of the folder and where does it appear?

What happens if you don't delete it - does a new folder appear when you reboot? And is there anything in the folder?

I don't understand your last reply - did you check to see if it creates duplicate folders (if you don't delete it and then reboot)?
