My Knowledge...
I started with electronics and electrical as early as 12 and had a working knowledge of the basics by 15. this stemmed from being poor and having a desire for stuff. i needed to know how stuff worked and I couldnt stop my self. =] its the geek in me. my computer experience blosomed later with vic20's and commodore 64's. played a little with apples but not much.
I went to corning community college for electrical tech but flunked english 3 times in a row. i also got in trouble for getting by simple passwords in the mainframe. ( password for Neptune = flipper i mean come on). did a few basic computer courses but nothing really usable.
I also got scooped up by a guy, Walter Dingfelter, who seen my abilities and gave me the opportunity to further my knowledge in a factory setting while the were developing a CNC/Robotics project for brake rotors. When he left i continued on helping the foundry with their pc's, network and other projects even after i started ENE. They actually funded my start up. Thank you Tom Kisloski!
Now i run ENE and our primary function is computer repair and nowadays thats mostly virus/spyware and other garbage ware removal. We also Custom build PC's, upgrades and all the rest. We also do car audio and video, Live Sound systems, and i dabble in several other small things including some web development and software dev.
My Personal PC's run Linux, Ubuntu mostly but i have a few other distro's running here and there. and a dual boot on the laptop though i have only gone to the windows side a few times.
I have been reading here and using combofix for years now and love what your doing! thought i would help out and contribute what i can. so here i am... =]
