Hi,
On my laptop I don't get the quick image on my screen when I turn my caps lock on/off like I do when I turn my mute on/off, brightness up/down or sound up/down. It's quite annoying as there is no light on my keyboard or anything to tell me so if I have to find out whether I've got caps lock on I have to type something into a text box where the text is visible (unlike a secret password box). It's quite annoying and I'd like to know if anyone can help me with putting something like this on the computer. I've never had it so I don't think anything has been deleted.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry but I have not found the exact answer yet -
The link above should take you to Acer Request / Q & A area so that you can log a personal question with them -
See the Tabs at the right side, top of the page -
I do not know if you are a registered Acer user, so I had problems asking a specific questions.
My previous problems were with Toshiba laptops that had faulty Cap Lock keys (as the light is in the key)
I will keep looking for a while, but you can try Acer directly if you like -

Quote 1 / No caps lock indicator. This is really strange and quite annoying.
Quote 2 / It even has a numeric keypad as part of the layout. It's taken about a week to get used to having that but now I'm typing away with speed. My only gripe is that there is no indicator light for the Caps Lock
Quote 3 / I do however, have some problems with the laptop which I think other consumers should be aware of before purchasing.
The keyboard has no way of indicating whether the Caps Lock key is on or not. This can get very annoying if you are typing in a password on a website, for it to say it's wrong and you then have to click on a normal text screen and type a letter to see if the Caps Lock is on or not.

After searching further I find many reviewers complaining that the Caps Lock indicator is not visable or no longer on their laptop ??
This may be an ongoing problem with the Acer laptops ?

Yes I found some of those as well, thanks a lot for your help. It probably is - I'll try Google and see if there's some kind of fix for it.
