Posted Image When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.


Posted Image Do not bump your topic. We try to resolve logs on a first come/first served basis. By bumping your log you will be pushed back in line due to the new date of your bump.

Hi!

Okay.

Please try this:

Click Start > Click Computer > System Properties on the toolbar, click on Click here to activate Windows now in the Windows Activation section.

You may be prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, if your prompted for your password please type it in, or click Continue.

Click on Show me Other ways to Activate.

Then click on Use the Automated Phone System and then follow those instructions that are provided.

Hey ST,

I get error code 0x80070426 when I click start to activate and I never get the option of "other ways to activate".

Press the Windows Logo in the bottom left corner of your screen.
In the Posted Image box, enter command and right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.

Copy/Paste the following bolded text into the command window followed by ENTER.

net start slsvc

Please let me know if it gives you an error message after you run the above command.

Also run this report below:

Running MGA Diagnostic
We Need to Diagnose a Possible Problem with WGA
This may be preventing you from installing that service pack.
  • Please download MGADiag and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click the Posted Image icon on your desktop.
  • Push Posted Image
  • Push Posted Image
  • Go to Start -> Run and type in "Notepad"
  • Go to Edit -> Paste in notepad > Go to File > Save > Name it MGA Report > Save it to your Desktop
  • Please submit the file you just created to the this link here,
