Bumping this because I am still having problems...

I ran memtest again and both sticks of RAM failed. Today I went out and purchased two new sticks of RAM and installed them into my PC. To test it out and see if I got a blue screen, I ran TF2 and not even a minute into the game the screen got distorted and I had to shut off my PC. I ran memtest again with this new pair of RAM and got an incredible amount of errors.Posted Image

You are using an early version of memtest86+ (1.65). The latest version is 4.20

Please download the latest version, unzip it and burn the .ISO image to CD and try running that:

Direct download link to latest version of memtest86+ (v4.20): Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)

Does that produce the same or a different result?

I received errors immediately. Let me remind you this is new RAM.

What happens if you test each stick of RAM individually, in the same mobo slot (the slot closest to the CPU)?

Does one or both fail?

Did what you said. Both failed.

It's possible that the RAM is bad (again!).

However, it is also possible that your motherboard/system is the problem.

Somehow or other, you are going to have to sort out which ... and I'm not sure how you might go about that without enlisting some "outside" help ... either a known good motherboard/system or a known good stick of RAM. (Is the RAM you are testing fully compatible/recommended with the mobo?) Either you are having some really bad luck, or ... there's more to it.

Well the options keep getting slimmer and slimmer, ha.

Don't throw in the towel just yet: Not after all the work you've put into it so far!

Is there any way you can get yourself past the little predicament?

Well I don't know how to determine what the problem is myself. If it's my motherboard I have a warranty that covers that, but I don't want to take that step unless I know for sure it's the problem.
