File transfer over SSH See title

I have a headless server running ubuntu server and i would like to know if there is a command out there to copy a file from my Windows based computer to a directory in my hard drive.

For reference the files i want to transfer are on a external hard drive and i want them to got to /home/media.

Look these up for syntax on the commandline (they're commandline tools). Just type each line below as shown (not sure how familiar you are with manpages).

man scp
man sftp
