When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

vista security 2012 V.S. 2012 removed but trojan attacks

Thanks to Bleeping Computer and Malwarebytes Vista Security 2010 is gone.
Now at least once a day I get a "Trojan" attack that lasts for a couple of hours with an attack every 30 to 45 seconds. Symantec finds and quarantines it each time. File name is "DWH6EFB.tmp", the "DWH" and the ".tmp" is always the same but the "6EFB" is random. Even if the dsl line is unhooked an attack will start, or even continue once it has started.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at Step 6. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues, what you have done to resolve them, and a link to this topic.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

It would be helpful if you post a note here once you have completed the steps in the guide and have started your topic in malware removal. Good luck and be patient.
