AustrAlien, thank you so much for your help so far. Sorry if I seem like I am trying to rush things, I am just frustrated. Currently I am testing the first stick of RAM and am nearly at hour 10 with no problems. I will update with a reply tomorrow and let you know how it is going. Again, thanks!

I just got an error on the stick of RAM at almost 11 hours. Does this definitely mean the RAM is bad? I stopped the test and started testing the 2nd stick in the same slot.

Good: That's what we are looking for!
The RAM is NBG, yes .... or the mobo or CPU .... ? ... but let's not go there if we don't have to!
Go ahead and continue testing the second stick. If that holds up without error for 24 hours, well and good: Continue our work with only that stick of RAM installed.
Note: NBG = NoBloodyGood

Just finished the 24 hours on my 2nd stick of RAM and had no errors. Right now I have the 2nd stick installed in the system and the 1st (NBG) stick out. Other than returning the NBG stick let me know what else you think I should do. Thanks!

That's a good overall result: One bad stick out of two. At least we have found a definite cause of the problem and it can be easily resolved. That was actually a very quick and easy bit of trouble-shooting: You were lucky there, even if not so with the RAM.
Basically, you will need to get a matching set of RAM sticks, and then start afresh all over again and hope you have better luck this time. Wipe or delete all partitions on the hard drive and perform a fresh Win7 installation. You should not be getting any of those errors and having the trouble that you had last time!!! The installation and updating should proceed flawlessly. Download the drivers for the mobo and graphics card and have them on CD or flashdrive ready to install when needed, rather than using the drivers that come on CD with the hardware (because they are likely to be out-of-date already).
I am not sure, but I suspect that you may need to return both sticks of RAM and obtain a new matching set.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
Otherwise ... Best of luck.
