You notice I said

Quote

I'd go for the ASUS A53SV-NH71

Good Processor, Good Video etc.
The ASUS looks good and you should be happy.
http://service.asus.com/Warranty.aspx 1 - 3 years* (depending on model)
Go for it. The long you wait to decide the longer before you have it to use.

A comparable Thinkpad would be more money which was why I said go for the Asus. Probably a fair bit more for comparable as they are business oriented and have Better data protection security that can be enabled against theft. But you pay for that.

You will find that a lot of business models do not have a Webcam for example.

My first Computer had a Whopping 16K of memory @ 0.89MHz
My first hard drive held 20 Megabytes and never got filled up.

The person who suggested the X120e was from either Amazon or Lenovo. They made a near identical post to another topic which the person said they only had the laptop for 3 weeks. But when they posted to your topic, the person said they only had it for 24 hours. Isn't a bit suspicious? Also the laptop mostly does meet the OP's requirements.

WOW. You ARE good! You obviously read all the new posts! Very impressive. I have the attention span of a gnat. But that was a good price at around 500 bucks!
