Hi, this is my first topic on this site but I really need some help. My laptop has been having this issue lately where whenever I try to install an antivirus (namely AVG) an error will occur. The software normally installs correctly and will even run some general scans. It rarely finds some generic threat but normally comes up clean. But soon the whole laptop reboots. As it runs its startup process, it will say that windows was unable to start and I will be forced to restore to a point right before the software was installed. Any ideas on why this happens? And if so how can i fix it?
