When posting your problem, do not run and post a ComboFix log. ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer. Any posts containing CF Logs will be ignored.

To receive help, you should instead provide a detailed description of your problem, detailed word-for-word error messages that you are receiving, screenshots of strange behaviour, and your operating system. This information is much more useful to our helpers than a ComboFix log.

Split from: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic434677.html ~Budapest

Hi - I am also having the same problem - dell inspiron 1011, windows xp home edition sp3. My cousin was given the computer and was having trouble. I ran malwarebytes and super antispyware on it. it found and removed trojan gen and trojan gen ZAccess. I quarantined then removed them. Now I can't connect to the internet. It shows I am connected to the wireless. When I ran SFC.EXE it exited fine. If I try to run IPCONFIG ALL, I get an error message.

thanks for the link, but still no luck. I get error messages - just did another superantispyware scan and came up with Trojan.Agent/Gen-Kazy. aaarrrgggghhhh! I will see what happens when I quarantine it and run another scan. She did not get a flash or anything with the o/s on it or I would just reformat the hard drive and be done with it. Now we have Trojan.Agent/Gen-Nullo[Short] and Trojan.Agent/Gen-ZAccess is back. I guess I'll try this again!

OP has found a way to restore the machine to factory settings by striking Ctrl+F11 at boot.
We were involved in dialog unrelated and the topic came up.
Thought I'd post the info as I ran across this thread by chance.

Carry on, soldiers.
