This has been posted before, but the thread ended before I could figure out exactly what to do. Specifically this is for Call of Duty: Black Ops single player but the same thing recently happened to my old copy of Call of Duty Modern Warfare, the first one. I can start a new single player campaign on the first menu and it goes through the first cutscenes before popping up with "Insufficient free disk space. Please free at least 5 mb of free space on game drive." I have around 700 gigs of free space on the computer im using right now, first day using it, although it's a used computer. And I had around 10-20 gigs of free space on the computer i had my copy of the first Modern Warfare on. So I wouldn't know what's causing it. There's literally no decent information on this problem on the Internet, although I do remember something about something related to the autosaves the game makes, wouldn't know how to do that though.

Do you have multiple partitions and is the game installed on the primary partition?
Often times it could be a read/write error-
If you are using Windows 7, have you tried running the game using Run as administrator?
