A registry cleaner would not affect defragmentation in any way, shape, or form.

Andrew, I am not agree with you.
When the Windows Registry is dirty than get you troubles with the programs in Windows and you take also the risk that Windows will not be working anymore.
If you know would the registry keys installed in the Windows Registry.
When the registry is dirty, than is the possibility there that one or more programs will be not working, when you try this.
So Andrew it is important that you cares that the Windows registry is clean of errors.
If you run the Registry Cleaner program and after that you reboot the Computer, than in the most cases will the defrag program work, belief me.

But there is one thing what I find weird and that is what Rotor123 told:

I tested Registry cleaners in the past and they are a Epic Fail

For some Registry Cleaners must you be carefully, indeed, because some Registry Cleaners destroy the system, but CCleaner is what I do know a very good program, so CCleaner don't destroy the system if you do what I did let see in my attach.
If there more people they have nasty experiences with CCleaner, than I removed immediatly the program of my HD., but what I do know, have few people troubles with CCleaner, when someone or that few, have troubles with CCleaner, then do they from my opinion something wrong.

It is the same situation with Hijackthis Tools, when you use that wrong, than are you in the problems, but when you use it very well, than have you fun with that.
So I find it weird that what Rotor wrote, that CCleaner give also troubles.
I think that he did something wrong.

Question: If CCleaner is just as the other Registry CCleaner programs, not good and destroy the system, why do I not have troubles.? I am just as everyone a Computer user and have just as everyone some experiences, so I am not God, than is it strange that I find not troubles with that.
I use that program now for many and many years and have not seen problems with that, so dear members, if you can see, I am confuse that there are people they tell that CCleaner is just as the others, rubbish.
