Hello,

I have a problem with scanners and email viruses...

We have a Toshiba network scanner/printer/fax machine.

I recently scanned myself a document which gets emailed to me from the Toshiba as a pdf.

i attached this file to an email and sent it to a client. the client opened this attachment and got a virus so bad his IT dept had to wipe out his computer...
how could this have happened??

we scan docs to ourselves all day using this machine and never have any issues like this...
is it possible that the Toshiba has a virus? i have never heard of a business copier having a virus before?

or is my computer altering the pdf attachment when sending the email?

thanks
Jarred
