Repeated Blocked Intrusion Alerts Should I be worried?

So recently (today, actually) when I got on my computer and started firefox, my Norton Antivirus notified me about an Intrusion being blocked and what not so but... not too long after being notified, I was notified again... and again about 10 minutes later, and again as I type this.. This is the first time this happens to me. What exactly does this mean? Is it bad? If so, what exactly should I do (do take note not I'm not much of a tech person... so please, try and keep it simple)? Please respond.
