Hi, I got new problem with my 2nd laptop.
The problem is hard to solve.
My sound card, everything is alright.
I can hear sound very well.
But the problem is, i hear BIOS booting sound-"Beep!"ing instead
of system error sound(like when you type "abcdefg" in run, low piano tone sound comes out with
X mark error msg).
That's all the problem i got.
Only error sound is the problem.
My sound card driver is alright.
How do i solve this problem?

Please post your computer model/brand. Usually the manufacturing support site has documentations on beep codes. How many beeps do you hear?

If Windows boots correctly my first thought would be that the beep you hear is a key stuck beep.

Open up a word processor or notepad and make sure all keys respond correctly.
In the beginning there was the command line.

It's manufactured by LG, Model is LE50
And it's not beeping when i try to get into normal window.
It's beeping after i get into normal window.

Yeah. all keys respond correctly

Ty 4 trying 2 help me. But i think you guys do not understand what i'm talking about.
I'm saying that BIOS Start up beeping sound is heard in normal window(Pass BIOS already).
It's heard when i do something wrong like type unknown command in "Run".
There should be low tone of piano sound but instead, there is start up beeping sound.

What do you have your sound scheme set to?

Try setting it to none as an experiment.
If you still hear the souond I would expect hardware of some sort.

If the sound goes away when set to none try setting it to Windows default.

What events trigger the sound?
In the beginning there was the command line.

Sry 4 late reply.
I tried that and set it 2 none.
But i still hear Start Up "Bleep"ing sound.
I kinda think that this is not a hardware problem cuz
i still can hear other sound very well(except error msg)

And msg box trigger the bleeping sounds by the way.
Such as msg box with Red X mark or Yellow ! mark.
