Video Card not compatible with Direct 3D

Windows updated itself yesterday and now my screensaver won't work. I get the message "The screen saver can't run, because it requires a newer video card or one that's compatible with Direct 3D".

My graphic card is up to date.

I use Windows 7 (64)
PC is 1 year old.

Any idea how I can fix it without going out to buy a new card?

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Service Pack 1
Processor: Pentium ® Dual-Core CPU E5500 @2.80 GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB (3.75 GB usable)
Video Card: Intel ® G45/G43 Express Chipset

One thing to check out is that the only unique part of your video card is the chipset. Google your PC model number and see if you can find your video card specs. Often, you can find updated drives to install manually at the chipset manufacturer's website.

North Bridge:
Intel G43
South Bridge:
Intel ICH10

and this:
Graphics:

Support Micorsoft DirectX 10
