Ping.exe Was Constantly Running So I Had Read A Forum And Used Combofix, Ran Combofix And Everything Is Working Great. I Am Having A Problem Finding Combofix To Uninstall The Program.

Edit: Moved topic from Vista to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

The desktop icon could be hidden or you may have accidentally deleted it.

If the run command does not work, redownload ComboFix from here and follow these instructions.
  • When it has finished you will see a dialog box stating that "ComboFix has been uninstalled".
  • After that, you can delete the ComboFix.exe program from your computer (Desktop).
  • If you encounter any problems using the switch from the Run dialog box, just rename ComboFix.exe to Uninstall.exe, then double-click on it to remove.

Afterwards, please do NOT run ComboFix again unless asked to do so by a member of the Malware Removal Team. Why? Please read the pinned topic ComboFix usage, Questions, Help? - Look here.
