HELP. My other computer got attacked and I can't access anything, it seems like it deleted a bunch of programs.

Security Essentials warned me of a "severe" virus, called win32/alureon or something. And in one fell swoop, it seems to have tried to delete all my programs. What do I do? I feel so helpless.

Install, run and fix anything detected by these programs to begin with:

AVAST Free

Malwarebytes

Spybot S&D
ReviverSoft - Happy to help!
