Oh my goodness, I guess I have a little dyslexia in me cause when I wrote down the command I wrote bs=152 instead of bs=512... sorry for the mix up, I'll have the new one for you soon.

That looks clean.
What firewall are you using and how much RAM does your computer have?
Please restart your computer in safe mode and see if you have the same issues there.

The firewall I am using came included in Avnquest's System Suite Professional and it's called Net Defense Firewall. Since you asked about my firewall I will mention that I still can't get System Suite to do any of it's one-click wizards, they error out completely, so I am thinking there might be an issue with the install, but this is the second time I did a clean install of System Suite.
I am running an HP Compaq, with an AMD Sempron Processor, 3200+ 1.79GHz with 1.93 GB of RAM. I have Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3
It's definitely an old computer, at least 5 years if not 6... I can upg rade its RAM a little more, not sure how much though.
I'll try booting in safe mode to see if the problem persists, but it will be difficult to tell as booting in safe mode alone makes things lag, it always has, so should I boot in safe mode with or without networking? I would assume with networking so I can see if google still hangs and tries to redirect the page.
Thanks again for your help also for being kind enough to let me know at each step if something was found or not, I'm very much a control freak and feel like I NEED to know those things lol. I will get back to you shortly with the answer about safe mode and safe mode with networking.

In that case I definitely recommend to completely uninstall Avanquest, see if that resolves the problem and based on the results either reinstall Avanquest or use another Antivirus.

In safe mode with networking right now, I noticed when going to google it didn't hang and the main page where the menu with things like +You Search Gmail Youtube and such looks completely different than it does when I am in regular windows, but none of my Firefox settings are different, wondering why this is... moving on, in safe mode with networking EVERYTHING online seems to be moving so much smoother, faster, windows, however moves much slower, folders take a long time to open etc... Windows acting slow is how its always been at least on this computer, but networking has never been so smooth. It's a shame we can't find a balance where networking is awesome and so is the rest of the system
To get back on track, I will be reinstalling Avanquest again, lets hope it goes smoothly, would it maybe help if I installed it in safe mode? If I continue to have issues with the software I will look elsewhere. I've used it for years with no bloating issues, it didn't lag things, just ran good, then all of a sudden in ver. 11 slow as heck everything, they swore 12 would be the fix and things would be back to normal... doesn't look that way and I have no problem turning my back on them.

This can happen with updated versions. You usually cannot install programs in Safe Mode (unless they do not require Windows Installer), anyway it wouldn't matter.
Let me know if uninstall/reinstall makes any difference.
