I have an Asus K53E Laptop
Processor: Intel Core i5-2410M
64-bit Operating System
Windows 7 Home Premiums Service Pack 1
Recently my Malware-bytes found a virus, and I simply removed it. However when searching on Google, I read there may be alterations to the registry and the virus may come back.
(I can't find the Malwarebytes log any longer, so I couldn't tell you what the virus name is)
Today I was going through my start up programs, learning what each one did, and noticed that there was one in particular that Google search was stating as a virus, including a thread on this very forum.
The start up is Partner BHO Class. (Partner.dll)
Besides this concern, I was wondering in general if anything else looked peculiar. I plan to start using Sandboxie and Returnil Virtual to prevent problems from occuring, and just want to make sure everything is good to go before I do that.
I have attached a text file of my start up (from Crap Cleaner).
Thank you and much appreciation
