Only members of the Malware Response Team or Moderators are allowed to help people with logs. Anyone else should refrain from posting to another user's log.

When posting a log please put the type of infection you have in the topic title. IE: Winfixer, Virtumonde, WinTools, WebSearch, Home Search Assistant, etc.

Do not bump your topic. We try to resolve logs on a first come/first served basis. By bumping your log you will be pushed back in line due to the new date of your bump.

Google keeps redirecting How do I stop this?

After spending several hours on the phone with the PC's manufacturer and attempting to restore it to factory specs, they finally decided that they would send me the OS disk. Hopefully that will get the PC to reboot. Right now, it does nothing but runs Windows Error Recovery / Launch Startup Repair which gives an error message that it cannot start computer.

I should have the disk in a couple of days.

After reinstalling the OS twice, I think the problem I've had with the redirects has been resolved. Thanks for your help.
