Microsoft used to have list of motherboards/chipsets known to run Windows 2000 workstation, but looks like Google can only find their Windows 98 list now. Anyone know where Windows 2000 list is, or of any similar list to help me compare & pick board for custom build?

Locating a board that old will be nearly impossible.

But here is the full HCL for Win2K: ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/services/whql/hcl/win2000hcl.txt

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

I have a dell persion 450 workstation around here somewhere that use to run win2000 , recently had win server 08 on it but gave up playing with it ,you might want to check ebay for boards that work with win2000
edit to add this ,maybe not given the price of this one .
