Sound Device not showing Fresh XP install

I have just installed xp and everything is working fine but it is not giving me any sound.
I have checked in dev manager but there are no errors
as far as i know i am using on board sound.
The sound options from the contro0l panel are all greyed out.

If you need any other info please contact me asap

System manufacturer and model?

Installed XP...now? If you mean reinstalled...why was a reinstall done?

Did you install the audio drivers?
