No Network Connection Mystery Network driver

I have a Vista Compaq desktop the won't connect to the network. Everything appears to be normal except for a second mystery network driver. I cannot uninstall the driver and when I disable it it does not make any difference. Same in safe mode. It appears the some malicious code is generating the driver. Hope someone seen this.
