Upon further inspection, I'm pretty sure my NO Script plug-in is preventing this. I tried the allow scripts globally function but still no dice. I am in the process of trying to disable the program but short of uninstall I've run out of ideas. Any suggestions?

Thanks Bob

Good evening. :)

To be honest i'd be inclined to reformat and reinstall Windows and see if you can get it to run properly this time - some of the issues that you are having look like they have their roots in the "failed" install and only a proper install is likely to sort those out.
