Problem is I can no longer get into the System Recovery Environment. I should've known not to go for a temp solution with another OS..
Got to safe mode with the Windows Startup Disc, ran command prompt, opened notepad, file -> open, but when I go to the computer, it lists the flash drive, the portable flash drive, and my CD drive, but my hard drive is no longer listed.

Yah, it seems to have done that. I just went ahead and formatted and ran the installation disc. Now I gotta fix all my drivers and such to get the internet to connect.

Yep, even ran a service tag to have all the drivers for that computer listed. Granted it listed numerous different possible wireless cards that could be with the computer so i gotta guess the right one. Looks like this last guess was the right one though. Then just find a replacement antivirus program since I lost the pre-installed McAfee.
