BleepingComputer.com: Malwarebytes - Do I have to register?

First post! Scary!
I have loaded Avast onto my new laptop and have loaded Malwarebytes as well.
After what looks to be succesful loading I get a screen asking me to register.
What would the Registration ID and Key be as I have no idea what to enter here.
If I don't register what will happen.

You get a product ID and key for registration when you purchase a MBAM license.

A license enables extra feature, most importantly active protection.

Since how long do you have Malwarebytes installed on your machine?
Because the latest versions come with a trial mode the first 2 weeks.

Do you now if you activated the trial mode?
This trial mode lets you test out the full version free for 2 weeks.

Yes...the 14-day trial of the PRO version was incorporated as an option to all users starting with version 1.15 released May 31, 2011.

I loaded the free version.

I can personally say that the paid version has worked wonders for me! :D
